About Us
We understand the need to create sustainable Change Initiatives to rally the whole organization to support the objectives. We will help you set the course to successfully develop a resilient and innovative organization through a well-planned approach and flawless execution.

Who we are
Vector U is a boutique Change Management consulting firm born from deep industry leadership expertise. We know firsthand that change is inevitable and usually driven by growth or the need to adapt to new business circumstances. At its best, change can promote innovation; however, when it is mismanaged, it can also be the source of conflict and lost productivity.
We believe that every moment of significant change creates the potential for transformation. Although circumstances will be different, whether it is a re-org, a Merger/Acquisition, or a global transformation program, management must be prepared to provide timely communication, guidance, and planning to ensure that confidence and morale remain high as change occurs.
Our Team
A short introduction to the workshop instructors and why their background should inspire potential students’ confidence.

Venus V. Piñeyro
Founder
Founding member of The Inclusion Plus institute and the founder of Vector U. They were both born out of the awareness that Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion builds prosperity for people and companies and it fulfills her passion to democratize access for historically disadvantaged communities. She is a strategic thinker, problem solver, and knowledge integrator that uses leadership coaching and alternative conflict resolution (mediation) to provide innovative solutions for individuals and organizations.
Venus spent over 15 years in leadership positions at Facebook, General Motors and Dell using the power of data to solve diverse and complex business problems across a variety of functions (HR, CX, Marketing, Sales, and Finance). She defined and led multi-million global transformation projects unifying cross-cultural virtual teams to deliver mission critical objectives. During this time she often facilitated needs assessment, serving as the single voice for diverse stakeholders from executives to individual contributors. She is a certified Project Manager who has coached dozens of junior PMs.
Her interest in teaching behavioral skills to solve problems has led her to become a certified Myers-Briggs practitioner, Mediator/Arbitrator and Leadership Coach. She believes that awareness and focused (short-term) interventions can lead to increased productivity in teams, developing mature leadership capabilities and enhancing effective communication across all levels in an organization.
She is an advocate to end domestic violence and has worked to increase the representation of underserved communities in tech through her service on the boards of local non-profit organizations. Finally, Venus believes our individual journey is unique and through practicing our talents and understanding our personal truth, we contribute to a stronger, more united global community.

Kayla McLeod
President
As a first-generation immigrant, I have grown up with a distinct awareness of my cultural difference. It wasn’t until my young adult years that I began to see this difference as a strength. My experience of being perceived as an “other” made the concept of inclusion a personal goal as I progressed professionally.
What a feeling to see the difference my voice and ideas made in the efficacy of my organizations. Imagine what innovation we’ve missed because the right folx weren’t in the room! (Maybe certain soap dispensers used near-infrared technology to detect hand motions would have been able to detect certain melanated hands if there was diversity amongst the testing staff.)
I firmly believe making sure opportunities to increase Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are integrated into the identity of your company can only lead to the betterment of your products, services, company culture, and, ultimately, the wellness of your business as a whole. I look forward to working on making this a reality for your company.

Andrea Purón
Program Director
I’m a proud Latina. I came to the USA 3 years ago with a heart full of dreams. It hasn’t always been an easy path but it has always been worth it.
I specialize in Digital Marketing and am interested in teaching digital tools to entrepreneurs, small businesses, startups, and professionals.
I believe that when organizations allow us to develop freely, not only do we feel heard and accepted but we are also enabled to do our best work and fully contribute our talents which in turn results in greater successes and high-quality projects.
Personally, I love working with new people, hearing different voices, and creating human connections.

Dr. Alejandra Rodríguez Mielke
As a bilingual DEI educator, consultant, and coach with more than 25 years of experience in the field of DEI, Dr. Alejandra Rodríguez Mielke has worked tirelessly to debunk deficit thinking views that undervalue the strengths and potential of underrepresented groups, specially the Latinx community, so they have access to opportunities and resources to live long, healthy, and meaningful lives. Through Executive and Leadership Coaching for Latinas Leaders, Dr. Mielke supports these powerful women to rediscover and use their own resilience and determination to go after their dreams. Whether it is a new project, a promotion, a new business, a new phase in their lives, or simply achieving peace and a powerful mindset, Dr. Mielke helps Latina Leaders live with less self-doubt and more intentionality so they create lives by design and not by default.
As an Inclusive Leadership Coach, Dr. Mielke also works with mid-level managers and executives to help them create and manage inclusive workplaces that welcome, value, respect, and appreciate diverse talent. Dr. Mielke specifically works with those leaders, managers, executives who have gone through the DEI trainings, meetings, and policies reviews, but are looking for a more personalized Coaching experience to develop an awareness of biases and dead angles, cultural competence, better communication skills in order to create and fulfill a vision of diversity, respect, and prosperity.
